Binary State (Single)

You're ' living ' in
A ' digit- ' al
' wo- ' rld
It's a ' bina- ' ry state
You are ' wrong or ' right mor-
ality's ' black and ' white
you are ' with ' us
or a- ' gainst ' us
Time has ' come ' now
- to ' join ' us
you wouldn't ' wanna ' be
' an ene- ' my ?
Time has ' come ' now
to make de- ' ci- ' sions
join and ' fight ' now
' ' -live with it.
Oh, I suppose you think you're clever,
with your fancy airs and neutrality.
Open your eyes to the world now,
it's in a state of emergency!
There is ' no ' room,
no ' mar- ' gin
for ' err- ' or
' ' no mistakes.
There is no ' middle ' ground,
no re- ' demp- ' tion.
They're going ' down ' now,
useless ' foolish ' criminals.
Join a ' data- ' base,
sit in a ' box ' now.
This is the ' real ' world,
no way ' out of ' here!
Oh, I suppose you think you're clever,
with your fancy airs and neutrality.
Open your eyes to the world now,
it's in a state of emergency!
Now that you're ' living ' in
digital ' wo- ' rld
how will you ' live with ' it?
Will you ' die in ' it?

Dullday

It’s a new world order,
and I suppose we should be thankful,
And grey was my favourite colour anyway. Anyway…
But the battleships are killing,
And the silver is long gone,
And the sky is the same as every other day. Grey.
I think I took the wrong turning,
The key fit the door just the same.
It’s an easy accidental relocation,
When the desk is laid out the same way.
So I settle down to the daily report,
Same as the weekly and the annual.
When the walls slide down, and the page lights up,
said walls are painted purple right now.
I walk down the new stairs in the land of a dream,
Past a half-headed man who isn’t quite what he seems.
Pause to admire the circus sitting in the front garden,
When I’m shaken back to another dull day.
How does time pass?
How long was I gone?
On this dullday?

Evolution

Now it's the truth, a fact indeed,
Their arguments exert such an influence;
It's only as they walk away from me,
I start to doubt their coherence.
I never have space to think,
There isn't time to open my eyes;
For all I know we’re on the brink,
But I’m so sure they’re all so much wiser than I.
In the interests of efficiency,
Maybe I should learn to trust my leaders’ call;
But something blights my memory,
I can’t recount their points at all.
But don’t be afraid of death, (Rise up)
Because it’s life that you should fear. (Rise up)
So just try to enjoy the rest, (Join the wise)
Without the reaper screaming in your ear. (Join the chosen)
But the more I submit, the more I comply,
The more involvement gives me sight;
I understand they're exploiting you and I,
Oh, it’s time to put up a fight.
We'll overthrow their tyranny,
We’ll tear them down now, raise your voice;
It’s time for the rise of rationality,
It’s time to destroy this fiction of choice.
But don’t be afraid of death, (Rise up)
Because it’s life that you should fear. (Rise up)
So just try to bring joy to the rest, (Kill the wise)
Without the reaper screaming in your ear. (Become the chosen)
Now we’ve been set on this path in blindness;
We’ve been stumbling, we’ve been mindless,
And blood will be spilt this day,
As we tear the veil away.
And the red rain will fall and salt the soil;
The hypnotists will be forced to recoil,
As we’ll tear through the skies in our quest to despoil,
And the oceans will boil.
And I’m losing sight of what this mends,
I’m watching the morals start to bend,
I’m watching the lives start to end,
I didn’t ever intend…
As the heavens and Earth start to decay,
Oh blood will be spilt this day.
